Sibling rivalry is the phenomenon of the constant competition between two siblings who strive to be dominant over each other. The problem of sibling rivalry can be called a natural one, because only the strongest survive in the society – this habit connects people with the animal world where the rivalry is even more serious.
The nature of sibling rivalry depends on the child’s age. At first (till the age of three) children coexist normally, but later on at the age 5 and 6 siblings start quarrelling all the time supposing that they receive unequal quality of love, respect and attention from the parents’ side.
